Communicate and Relate Effectively at the Workplace

This program covers the techniques involved in receiving and communicating information as well as essential competencies working in a team and addressing conflicts. It will provide a foundation of practices and behaviors which can be used by operational level staff in their day-to-day work activities.

At the End of the Course, You’ll Learn to:

  1. Understand communication flow and the information received
  2. Respond using the best communication methods, including listening and speaking well, and the right use of body language
  3. Be sensitive to the background of the sender/receiver (including religion, nationality, gender, age, etc.)
  4. Identify signs, stages and causes of disagreement with individuals or groups
  5. Choose the right ways to discuss disagreements or differences and find ways to solve them to get win-win outcomes
  6. Inform your supervisor of the suggested ways to solve the disagreements/differences and seek approval

Who Should Attend?

Employees who do not have supervisory responsibilities for others and who work under direction to perform a specific set of work activities.
