SkillsFuture for Digital Workplace

As Singapore moves into a SMART nation, organizations and individuals now need to be more technology-savvy. It is therefore highly essential for us to be discerning users of technology and possess the knowledge and skills to harness technological devices and tools more effectively. This course is highly experiential with interactive and exciting Team Challenges and a MakerTech experience that involves hands-on use of digital applications that empowers you to be more future-ready for the digital age.

At the End of the Course, You’ll Learn to:

  1. Navigate popular apps to help improve the efficiency of your daily living (e.g. food delivery, travel, video-editing, and more)
  2. Use work productivity tools that help you save time and cost
  3. Have hands-on experience 3D printing through field trips to National Design Centre
  4. Recognize common cyber security threats such as phishing, ransomware, etc.
  5. Execute practical steps to protect yourself such as identifying secure websites, creating secure passwords and protecting personal data
  6. Understand basic concepts of data and how data can be better harnessed to support decision-making at the workplace
  7. Use Lean Management and contribute to innovation at your workplace

Who Should Attend?

1) Age & Work

35 – 70 years old working adults (including those returning to the workforce) as the following will be covered:

  • Lean Concept
  • Application of the Lean Concept at the workplace

2) Digital Competency

  • Must have an email
  • Must have a smart phone
  • Must know how to use Whatsapp
  • Must know how to use Google
  • Must know how to download from App store or Google Play

3) Educational Level & Language

  • O levels or higher
  • Written & Spoken: O level English
