Tai Chau Chyi
As an Executive Coach, Chau Chyi supports leaders and leadership teams to engage in designed and facilitated conversations to achieve leadership development and organizational development. He also co-founded a personal gym to promote personal fitness and sports performance management; and a spiritual life-coach for the Christian community.
Chau Chyi had a fast-track career movement. He started as an Engineer for only two years before being promoted to Operations Manager. Within the next few years, he rose to General Manager position to lead a green field manufacturing start-up project in China. As a General Manager, he assumed full P&L function in various European/US MNCs. He later progressed from managing a single business unit to manage group level businesses, and he became Vice President to lead the global operations and teams.
Under Chau Chyi’s leadership, the facilities in China and US were earmarked as flagships in lean manufacturing and operational excellence. These facilities were targeted to instil culture of excellence and attain world-class performance in Productivity, Quality, Service, Safety and Supply Chain Excellence.
As an Executive Coach, Chau Chyi supported major clients typically over a 3 to 4 years period. He conducted regular leadership co-creation retreats to develop leadership competencies and capacities to achieve strategic alignment and cultural transformation. Chau Chyi worked directly with business owners and C-suites to lead change from top down as well as bottom-up engagement. He customized design and delivery processes for each client according to their needs. Beyond competencies and capacities, Chau Chyi also worked with major clients on retainer basis for each change cycle period.
