Our client who operates a hospice was looking to undergo a “Mission Transformation” journey where their rich history, culture and values would be encapsulated into daily professional behaviors of all their staff. With this objective in mind, we worked closely with the client’s Executive Team to familiarize ourselves with the client’s unique context and request of living out a historical legacy in a present-day competitive business environment.
Key Concerns
Preserving the essence of Vision, Mission and Values (VMV) and translating each component into actionable daily professional behaviors
Helping staff feel confident and equipped to live the organization’s values in an increasingly competitive and demanding business environment

- facilitated alignment and decision-making sessions with the Executive Team to define on the actionable behaviors of VMV
- conducted several experiential workshops in which all levels of staff learned what the actionable behaviors of VMV would be
- analyzed findings from an end-of-workshop survey to decipher detailed areas of strength and areas for improvement
- offered post-project support through recommendations of suitable interventions to assist in sustaining the momentum and positive change
Impact
The client expressed appreciation and confidence that the project had helped them articulate their unique heritage relevantly in the context of today’s business.
Now that the staff have a clearer understanding of the organization’s VMV, they also felt more empowered and confident to live out their VMV in their daily work routines.
This exercise has definitely helped strengthened their corporate VMV equity.
