Today: Capelle Consulting is an integrated solutions provider that helps companies achieve Capability Excellence through Consulting, Learning and Coaching

2011: OTi – SDC Consulting was rebranded as Capelle Consulting

The two words “Capability” and ‘Excellence” resonated strongly with the leaders who looked at a common name to unite and solidify the new journeys together; also, to continue to build and increase the client’s organizational capability and help them achieve excellence.

2010: OTi & SDC merged

2002: SDC was rebranded to SDC Consulting

2001: Tan Tat Jin & Dr. Lee Tsao Yuan were separately appointed by the Singapore Government as Sub-Committee Members of National Economic Review Committee

2000: SDC was voted the no. 1 CREST provider by SPRING Singapore

1999: SDC – a long term partner of University of Strathclyde Business School to conduct MBA courses in Far East

With the motto “international Best Practice, Local Context”, SDC developed its own proprietary training materials, and designed a suite of training solutions for contextual relevance across ethnic, industry, and corporate culture.

1997: SDC opened its first overseas office in Shanghai

Through partnerships and joint ventures throughout Asia Pacific, SDC Consulting expanded its operations and grew steadily locally and in overseas, and opened its first overseas office in Shanghai, China. 

1995: SDC was founded by Tan Tat Jin

Originally named Skills Development Center, SDC Consulting was founded in October 18, 1995 as a regional provider of organizational and leadership development training, consulting, and coaching services in South East Asia and China.

1982: OTi Consulting was founded by Khoo Oon Theam

OTi Consulting was incorporated in 1982 as an international HR / Organizational Development consultancy firm specializing in Total Organization Renewal with offices in Asia and Middle East.
