Jackie Yap

Consultant

    With more than 20 years of experience in Human Resource and Organizational Development, Jackie has worked in academia, multi-national corporations and local companies. A firm believer in human potential, Jackie derives great satisfaction in partnering with clients to improve their Human Capital practices as well as motivates growth in their people. With this believe, she has been involved in organizational-wide Learning Needs Analysis and Competency Profiling, 360-degree Feedback and Employee Engagement Surveys, Selection Interviewing and Performance Management, Culture Building and Values Cascade projects and Role Redesign.

    Achievements

    • Successfully developed 40 job profiles for a multi-national technology client with annual organizational-wide Learning Needs Analysis for 800 staff; in order to ensure structured training plans are implemented
    • Successfully implemented 360-degree Feedback and Employee Engagement Surveys with private and public sector organizations. The implementation of this survey and feedback has involved several hundred staff in Asian countries, plus over 400 leaders
    • Successfully rolled out Open Appraisal training to 1,200 supervisors and operational staff for an infocomm client
    • Partnered a global luxury brand to roll out competency-based Performance Management program to 8 countries
    • Successfully cascaded competency-based Selection Interview for an Asian HR teams of a global property management organization
    • Successfully translated corporate values into everyday behaviour in Culture Building projects for clients in transportation, insurance and early childhood sectors
    • Successfully redesigned 10 volunteer roles for eldercare social sector agencies and improved on people practices for peer support specialists in several mental health organizations

    Prior to joining Capelle, Jackie was a Change and Training Manager in a British multi-national company, and also a Competency Development Manager in an American global IT company. She was also the Human Resource Development Manager for a couple of multi-national organisations and an Instructional Designer in a multimedia company. Jackie started her career as a Lecturer and Course Leader at a local Polytechnic.
