Mel brings with her more than 18 years of experience covering a wide spectrum of design and support for training systems, curriculum design & delivery, assessment & evaluation, and instructional technology.

An efficient and seasoned trainer, Mel has received many accolades for her effectiveness in training and her ease in connecting with and engaging her participants. In 2018, Mel was awarded the Best Trainer of the Year 2018 for the Changi Refresher Programme from the Changi Airport Group (CAG). She also received first prize for innovative teaching methodology at the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts Best Innovation Design Competition in 2008.

Prior to joining Capelle, Mel was Project Lead for a major transportation organization where she created a process for Sustainable Service Excellence Engagement. She also led project teams and translated employee development behaviors into curriculum, tools, and workshops to allow for internal knowledge transfer.

Previously, Mel was Senior Consultant for a consulting/education/training company specialized in improving individual and organizational performance, and design for web-based blended learning solutions. She was instrumental in developing the Foundation Course in Healthcare Management – a core program for all new staff in the executive and management team of a major healthcare group. She was also key in driving other programs in relations to Performance Appraisal Systems, Service Quality, and Personal Effectiveness.
