Evangeline Goh

Consultant

    Evangeline is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and strategic project execution, specialising in business sustainability and family philanthropy. As Head of Partnerships at Olive Tree Estates, she led the development of key collaborations in its sustainability work in Vietnam, facilitated engagement with government officials, business partners and authored the company’s inaugural sustainability report. She also worked closely with partners to strengthen environmental sustainability for their joint housing projects. For example, plans were conceptualised to protect and incorporate the natural mangrove as part of the housing estate design. She also visited construction grounds to better understand the requirements of a sustainable work site.   

    At the Tanoto Foundation, Evangeline refined her skills in advising senior management and family members on integrating philanthropic goals with sustainable business practices. She worked closely with regional teams to ensure effective project governance and alignment with long-term sustainability objectives. Additionally, her consulting work with the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre solidified her expertise, advising top companies like Capitaland and Pontiac Land on implementing impactful corporate responsibilities strategies. 

    Evangeline’s commitment to sustainability is underscored by her credentials as a GRI Certified Sustainability Professional and her Advanced Certificate in Sustainability and Sustainable Business from Singapore Management University. 

    Achievements

    • Successfully created social impact for affordable housing communities in Ho Chi Minh City. The first Family Centre in affordable housing was launched in 2021 with outcome metrics and funding plans. 
    • Initiated and fostered firm relationships with government officials and signed MOU with Vietnamese government university “University of Labour and Social Affairs 2” within 6 months of negotiation, with key focus on training and capacity building. 
    • Successfully created the first Sustainability report for the company with compliance to SGX’s requirements. 
    • Launched the Tanoto Scholarship programme after consultation with the family’s giving interest. 
    • Developed firm collaboration with the family foundation’s regional team to review project outcome, alignment with the family business sustainability and ensured good governance for Foundation’s work. 
    • Strategic deployment of internal and external communication processes to launch a business compliance for HP channel partners in Asia Pacific. 
    • Provided consultancy and strategic identification of suitable non-profit causes to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) teams of companies. Successfully matched charities to companies like Capitaland and Pontiac Land. 
    • Implemented marketing communications strategies and cultivated media interests for major national level event and campaigns on volunteerism.
