Bounce Back Fast with Problem Solving

Businesses face problems of various magnitudes on a daily basis. This workshop provides highly practical handles to identify and solve problems at the workplace. It starts with having the right mindset towards problems in the VUCA world.  Learners will use a 4-step problem solving process: (1) Identify problems, (2) Gather information, (3) Explore solutions and (4) Implement solutions.  

Learners are to bring in a work problem to practice the four steps during the workshop. It ends with action planning where they are to apply their learning to a work situation to ensure business resilience.

At the End of the Course, You’ll Learn to:

• Recognise symptom(s) that could lead to potential problem(s) at the workplace

• Identify deviation from organisation’s SOP based on symptom(s) identified

• Identify the impact of a problem on self and others at the workplace

• Identify possible root cause(s) of the problems

• Generate and select ideas to solve a problem using creative and logical thinking

• Evaluate selected ideas for possible solutions to a problem using pertinent criteria

• Devise an action plan to implement the selected solution

• Evaluate the effectiveness of the implemented solution(s)
