For an organisation to thrive in productivity and team synergy, effective communication is an essential component be it at the interpersonal, inter-group, intra-group, organisational or external levels. Accelerated by globalised cross-functional work culture in the recent years, communication becomes increasingly technology-enabled. 

This workshop aims to equip learners to lead workplace communication by evaluating and identifying workplace communication gaps and barriers, develop and implement communication strategies and mechanisms. At the same time, learners are enabled to assess a negotiation situation, develop strategies, and conduct negotiation to achieve organisational goals with win-win outcomes. 

At the End of the Workshop, You’ll Learn to:

  • Understand the sensory perception framework and frame of reference
  • Recognise the types of communication barriers
  • Overcome differences through accurate expressions and clarification questions
  • Resolve conflicts by working things our assertively
  • Select appropriate communication channels
  • Communicate effectively within a culture
  • Develop a communication plan and apply effective communication styles to engage others
