A connector focus on building relationships and engaging with people. Connectors usually network with ease and are able to gain a level of credibility and trust with people in their network.
This workshop seeks to provide a foundation of practices and skills, which learners can easily use in their day-to-day supervisory work activities. It also gives learners a platform to learn to engage and participate in workplace communications, facilitate team communication, and also resolve workplace conflict.
At the End of the Workshop, You’ll Learn to:
- Communicate organisational communication policies and procedures to employee and monitor their compliance
- Maintain communication channels to update employee on latest and relevant work-related information according to organisational communication policies and procedures
- Promote effective communication among employee considering also diversity issues
- Use appropriate communication techniques and tools to suit different communication styles of people in formal and informal settings
- Assess conflict situation and develop appropriate conflict resolution strategies
- Resolve conflict using appropriate conflict resolution strategies, approaches and techniques
